Amber Velvet Togo Two-Seater Sofa, Armchair and Pouffe by M. Ducaroy, Ligne Roset, France, 1970s

The Togo two-seater sofa, armchair and pouffe set was designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1973 and manufactured by Ligne Roset in France. The furniture is made entirely of segmented foam, upholstered with new fabric. Features original Ligne Roset logo and original bottom.

Material: velvet.

Color: amber-orange 2213

Detailed dimensions:

Armchair 70 cm by 87 cm by 102 cm | pouf 38 cm by 87 cm by 80 cm

Elegant, light, designed for comfort. Its shape is reminiscent of a corrugated giant cushion, which introduces homely freedom into the living room. This innovative shape has also become a symbol of a break with the traditional look of a sofa and has given a new direction in the design of lounge sets.

Togo sofas are available in many colour variations and different sizes.

Born in 1925, Michel Ducaroy came from a family of architects and furniture designers. He was educated at Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Lyon and in the family business. In 1954 he began working for Ligne Roset becoming one of the most integral designers of the brand. He went down in history creating innovative projects which became part of the design canon.

Ligne Roset is a family-owned French company founded in 1860. It officially became a brand in 1973 with the opening of its first store and the launch of Togo sofas designed by Michel Ducaroy - a timeless, iconic product that continues to delight design enthusiasts to this day.
