Persian Bidjar Takab Buchanan carpet produced in Iran in the 1980s, hand-woven from top quality wool. It is characterized by a compact, shiny rune, pleasant to the touch and beautiful colors and design. It is extremely compact and heavy. It is preserved in a very good condition.
The Bijar carpets take their name from the small Kurdish town of Bijar, located in western Iran. These carpets are of very high quality and the name itself underlines their durability and strength. They have a bristle, made of very good quality wool and woven densely, with a double knot. The most famous pattern of these carpets is the so-called Herati-mahi (mahi = fish), there are also patterns with a central medallion and flowers. It is often called the "iron carpet of Persia" because of its exceptional durability and stamina. These carpets are compact and heavy.

Delivery methods vary according to item and seller. The most popular are : post, courier or special furniture courier. If items from one order come from different boutiques, they might be sent separately and by different carriers.
