Chapeau Bonbonniere Matt White Ø16 cm by M. Seyppel, Lyngyby Porcelain

The bonbonniere from the Chapeau series is a universal vessel that can be used as a container for storing sweets or small personal belongings, but also as a bowl for serving dips, ice cream or soups. It will also work well as a distinctive ornament in the interior. Author of the design, Milia Seyppel, graduated from Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar and currently runs her own studio in Hamburg. Her projects are characterized by play with form, shape and color and have a sense of poetry and sensuality to them.

Porcelain manufactory Lyngby Porcelæn (1936-1969) has always had a significant influence on the history of Danish porcelain in both art and production. When production was at its peak, the factory accounted for one third of all porcelain production in Denmark. The factory is at the forefront of industry, laying the foundations for a design heritage that is more important than ever. The brand has managed to make a significant impact on the history of Danish design through its unique and distinctive designs, many of which have survived to this day. As you can see from the characteristic design of Lyngby vases, classic craftsmanship is combined with advanced manufacturing techniques, creating DNA in every product. Today it stands behind the resumption of cult projects, which are now being recreated with the utmost care and respect for the design heritage. At the same time, Lyngby discovers and highlights new designs and creative talents, and continues to write the story of one of Denmark's most innovative porcelain companies.
