Porcelain figurine of a Poodle, designed in 1964 by Mieczysław Naruszewicz. Currently produced by AS Ćmielów. It was handmade of the highest quality porcelain, and then decorated by hand with ceramic paints by painters.
Also available in version with an alternative needle decor.
The figurine is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which contains information about manual production and decoration, as well as information about the product (name, surname of the designer, year of design). In case of figurines, additionally to the certificate, a unique product number is entered (assigned according to the factory marking system). The product has a special protection in the form of glazed and glazed signs.
Mieczysław Naruszewicz was born in 1923 in Warsaw. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Faculty of Sculpture (Xawery Dunikowski's studio), and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he received his diploma. In the years 1956-61, the designer at the Ceramics and Glass Department in Warsaw prepared models of chamber sculpture for Polish porcelain factories. He designed about 44 designs, including "The Cat Lying Down", "The Magpie", "The Bull of Corrida", "The Boar". In the 1960s he worked as a designer in the Department of Transport Means Design at the Institute of Industrial Design, at the turn of the 1980s he headed the Design Studio at the Predom Association of Mechanized Household Equipment Industries. His artistic output also includes monumental sculpture projects, such as the monument to the "1000th Anniversary of Polish Cavalry" in Warsaw (unveiling in 1994).
