Tura Vase Jug by Philip Bro Ludvigsen for Lyngby Porcelæn

The carved Tura vase of white chalk porcelain was designed by Philip Bro Ludvigsen and inspired by female forms. The Tura vase is made with respect for the classic Lyngby Porcelain grooves, but is also a modern approach to a beautiful four litre jug vase.

The Lyngby Por celain Factory (1936-1969) has always had a significant impact on the history of Danish porcelain, both in art and production. When production peaked, the factory represented one third of all porcelain production in Denmark. The factory is at the forefront of industry, laying the foundation for a design heritage that is more important than ever before. The brand has managed to make a significant impact on Danish design history through its unique and distinctive designs, many of which have survived to this day. As you can see from the distinctive design of Lyngby vases, classic workmanship combines with advanced manufacturing techniques to create DNA in every product. Today, it stands behind the resumption of cult designs, which are now reproduced with the utmost care and respect for the design heritage. At the same time, Lyngby discovers and highlights new designs and creative talents and continues to write the story of one of the most innovative porcelain companies in Denmark.
