Vase Jack Gold Collection, AS Ćmielów

Jacek porcelain vase decorated with 24-carat liquid gold, designed in 1961 by Eryka Trzewik-Drost. Nowadays produced by AS Ćmielów, the vase is handmade of the highest quality porcelain and then hand-decorated with ceramic paints by painters. The product has a special protection in the form of under-glazed and glazed signs. The products manufactured in the factory have, among other things, the factory logo underneath. The figurine is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which includes information about manual production and decoration, as well as information about the product (name, name of the designer, year of design). In case of vases, a unique product number is additionally entered into the certificate (assigned according to the factory marking systems).

Eryka Trzewik-Drost born 19 November 1931 in Peace, visual artist, industrial design designer.

In 1951, she began her studies at the Faculty of Ceramics at the State School of Fine Arts in Wrocław under the direction of Stanisław Dawski. After defending her diploma in 1957, she started working in Porcelitu Bogucice, where she was a designer of applied ceramics for seven years. The lunch services designed by her went to Polish porcelain classics. In 1966 she started working at the Design Centre of the "Ząbkowice" Economic Glassworks in Ząbkowice Będziński, where she created ornamental utility glass. She created many projects together with her husband Jan Sylwester Drost, specializing in sets made of pressed glass.
