Wood Bros Old Charm series wooden box (exists since 1924), England.
The design inspirations for Old Charm come from the Tudor era and Elizabeth - the golden age in the history of England, in which the skills of furniture making and craftsmanship became the first place. Today, Wood Bros continues to use traditional carpentry techniques such as dovetails and tongue and groove joints to increase strength. All elements are hand sanded, finished and aged to give an authentic look. Stylistically, many influences from Europe and the Renaissance are visible, with beautifully crafted motifs, turns and sculptures from that period. Each piece of furniture is made of natural wood with different rings, giving the furniture an individual character and look.
The construction of the chest is stable, the wood is healthy and in very good condition. There are few scratches on the top.
